How to Import Dash Camera from China
A step-by-step guide for importing dash cameras from China, including product matching, samples, payment, inspection and shipping.

In this guide
Step 1: Define your market and product level
A budget retail dash cam, a taxi fleet recorder and a premium 4K WiFi dash cam are different products. Start with your sales channel, customer price level and required functions.
This prevents overpaying for functions your market does not need or choosing a product that cannot meet local expectations.
Step 2: Order samples and test locally
Test video clarity, app setup, GPS track, rear camera view, parking mode and heat resistance. If possible, install the sample in the same type of vehicle your customers use.
For distributors, sample testing is also useful for preparing product photos, sales copy and installation notes.
Step 3: Confirm packing and shipment details
Before deposit, confirm unit price, accessories, carton quantity, gross weight, lead time, warranty terms and shipping method.
For first orders, ask for packing photos and function test references before final payment.
